Here`s another great article:
Yesterday I was playing with Theo (2 year old lab) and i jokingly put a treat behind my back and then showed him both hands with a closed fist so he didnt know where the biscuit was. Out of nowhere he offers paw, and what are the chances.. he got the correct hand. Queue me trying this 5 times in a row and every time him getting it correct after a quick sniff.
He has taught himself this little trick and it's now something he enjoys (fun game plus biscuit – win).
My question is what can i do to build on this? In the past I've tried hiding treats in a room for him to sniff out. Even though he did eventually find them, I could tell he found it a little confusing and frustrating.
