Transitioning from pee pads to outside?

Here`s another great article:

Hi! I brought home a 3 month old jack russell terrier named nala exactly one week ago. She is doing very well with her potty training going on the wee wee pad, has had minimal accidents the past three days! However, I am wondering when I should start transitioning to having her go outside, and how? My deck is currently under construction at the moment so we don’t have a doggy door installed yet (my plan was to move the wee wee pad closer and closer to the door and then eventually outside the doggy door…but thanks to my father I have no idea when the deck will be done). Should I wait until she is completely trained on the wee wee pad or is it better to introduce sooner rather than later?
