Should I worry about bloat while recall training?

Here`s another great article:

I apologize if this is not the right forum to ask, but I have some questions about dog bloat. From what I have read, it's best to avoid exercise twenty minutes before and after eating a meal. I'm not sure to what degree this means food combined with running should be avoided altogether.

When training / playing with my dog outside, I use treats as rewards. Sometimes this involves him sprinting 200+ feet back and forth between myself and my husband, while we give him small treats or bits of chicken. Should I be concerned about bloat? Should I avoid giving him water during these running sessions? I would hate to unknowingly put him at risk.

Thank you!

For reference my dog is a 35-40 lb shepherd/boxer/misc mutt, unsure if the size or type affects risk.
