Here`s another great article:
I’ve had my border collie pup for a week now, and he’s extremely active (as all pups are :D) but this causes some issues in the morning. For example l, I haven’t been able to eat proper meals as he jumps at me as I eat. I was wondering if it’s okay for me to stick him in his crate for 20-30mins on the morning (after he’s ate and we’ve had a run in the garden). The reason I’m asking is because I’m a first time owner and I wasn’t sure if this would be acceptable, as I know young pups need a lot of energy expending and I should be keeping him active. I was also scared it would make him resent his crate.
