My 13 week old spoo is the queen of tug of war with her leash on walks. She’s obviously too young to go on a normal walk so we just make laps around the parking lot of our apartment complex. I’ve tried to deter this with bitter apple spray on the part she bites the most, taking the leash out of her mouth and making her sit before we continue, and trying to treat her in exchange for dropping the leash. My arms and shoulders are tired of being yanked every 2 steps. Is there something I’m missing? She’s pretty good about everything otherwise, we’ve slowly stopped putting every rock, mulch piece and pine cone in our mouth!
