Potty training struggles

Here`s another great article:

Hey all, my 15 week old collie/lab mix is still having potty training issues. We live in an apartment and rely on pee pads and outside. Sometimes it’s just not easy to get him outside fast enough or he’s at home for a few hours by himself. I’d say we’re pretty 50/50 in success at this point but there’s just sometimes where he’ll pee blatantly beside a pee pad on the floor and just stare at us while doing it. We always give treats when he pees on pee pad or outside, and when he pees incorrectly we bring him to it, say no and then place him on the pee pad. He loves to pee, and will hold it if he’s in his area. But if he’s hanging with us supervised in rooms he’ll pee every hour. At this point he should be holding it a bit longer and not needing to be brought outside every hour. They aren’t always big pees, so I can tell he’s peeing for the sake of peeing quite often.

Any tips to get him better then 50/50?
