Here`s another great article:
I'm so thankful for having found the wiki and everyone here so soon after bringing my puppy home. With so much good information at my disposal I was able to make a training plan and be super vigilant so that we only had a handful of accidents over the first ten months and none since.
That said, when I first stumbled in here I was a complete mess. I was exhausted from multiple overnight potty trips, my anxiety was running amok because I had no clue if I was doing anything right, and I had the puppy blues so bad I think I cried as much as he did during the start of crate training. I don't think anything can really prepare you for how hard emotions can hit while you're trying to raise a puppy. It's okay to feel overwhelmed and it's totally normal for neither of you to know what to do. Just keep trying, celebrate any little successes you can, and take lots of pictures. Puppyhood goes by so fast.
Anyway, I'm just super proud of him and wanted to share his success. He's grown up to be such a great dog.
Here's some happy in his crate puppy tax.
