Here`s another great article:
I have an almost 1 year old golden/lab mix. We live near a nice walking trail with open space for dogs to run around, often we'll have our pup off-leash and if we see someone coming we recall and leash just to be courteous to the other people. Lately, if there's a dog with them – our pup will not recall and instead run right to the dog to say hi. No matter how much we practice and train (We tried training "wait" where he has to sit still until we come to him and that works in most scenarios except for when there's another dog). How do we train for this?! It's extremely frustrating and we don't want our pup to think it's ok to sprint at other dogs EVER. Help!
