Here`s another great article:
Our 10 week old pup has been doing so good with house and crate training, and I’ve been working with him every day on leash training.
I read through all the resources and have been using the silky Leash technique. It works ok about 50% of the time but our lil pup is not very food motivated. Even if I do it before he’s fed dinner so he should be hungry, he would rather sit in the yard and sniff the breeze or nose at the grass. I picked moist, stinky treats and he will go for them and take about 3 steps and then sit down or lay down again.
Am I not doing it right? Is he just too little? It’s gonna he hard to walk him if he just wants to lay down and smell the air lol
