Here`s another great article:
I got a goldendoodle puppy last week, today is my 5th day with her. I try to take her out every hour, yet she pees inside too. She chews on literally everything, everything. She bites my hand everytime I pet her so I barely have the desire to touch her. 90% of the time I take her out to go to the bathroom (I live in an apartment) she tugs on her leash and it absolutely infuriates me. Today I took her out about an hour after she ate and drank and she wouldn't go to the restroom, she tugged on the leash, and I got so furious that I aggressively picked her up and scolded her outside loudly. We came back inside and she peed on the floor after not peeing outside for 10 minutes. I know that negative reinforcement is bad, but I am so damn angry with this puppy sometimes that I can't help it. I've been doing my best to exercise her physically and mentally, but she's really pushing my buttons in every way. I don't know what to do about this puppy, I never want to be mad at her and I'm not considering getting rid of her, I just don't know what to do.
