I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I'd love to hear some training success stories! We adopted a 2-year-old dog a month ago, so we're right at the beginning. She needs a bunch of training that we weren't expecting (house breaking and leash reactivity), as well as all the basic manners training we were expecting. She's made good progress in the month we've had her, but after a tough walk or a mess in the house, it's hard not to feel like we'll be training her FOREVER, even though I know that's not the case.
I don't need training tips – we've learned a lot from this sub and we're working with a trainer – I just want to hear good stories about training paying off so that can remember the light at the end of the tunnel. Tell me about your pups!
