Here`s another great article:
Kinda a specific question. We have a 3 month old male Texas Heeler, who we have had for 3.5 weeks. We also have a 4 year old large (60 lbs) mutt. Puppy is pretty good on his leash when he’s alone. However, when I take them both outside or on walks together, puppy is constantly all over my older dog. He mostly just grabs at and yanks on her leash, but also occasionally bites at her (playful bites, older dog doesn’t seem to mind much). I’ve been just trying to keep them on opposite sides of me, but I do have to hold puppy’s leash pretty tight, as to not give him room to get to her.
Does anyone have any ideas how to correct this behavior? Anything would be appreciated!
