Here`s another great article:

Hello! We've recently taken in a nearly 2 year old rescue dog! He's never lived in a house before and has had very little experience with children…… My question is what is the best way to make him feel comfortable around my 8 year old? He has his own room to take himself off to if he feel scared and my son is very calm and slow around him and also brings him his food, is there anything else I can do to help them build a good relationship? TIA!
