Here`s another great article:
I have a nearly 17 week old cocker spaniel who is losing his teeth. He's lost two so far, but he does not want to eat his kibble at all. He'd rather go hungry than chew on it!
I've tried soaking in water and adding gravy, but nothing worked. The last two days hes had a bit of rice and chicken, or mashed potato and chicken with some cooked carrot.
I dont know what to do to get him to eat. I dont want to miss it with wet food as he has a sensitive stomach so changing his food is a long process and difficult to reverse.
Pets at home suggested a deer antler which we bought and he loves, but this is just for encouraging his baby teeth to drop out. He can't actually eat anything off it for food. Any advice?
