Here`s another great article:
My puppy chews on his harness like crazy, to the point where I can only put him in it if he is going outside. When redirecting with literally anything, even his favorite things or chews, he doesn't care at all. He can't have a collar as he pulls still and I don't want to hurt him.
If using his crate as a time out, should I wait for him to stop whining before letting him out? (He goes in there all on his own, eats in there, is fine in there unless it's for time out) or should I just give it a set amount of time like 10-20 minutes and then let him out even if he is crying?
