Here`s another great article:
Hello~! I have a 7 month old American staffordshire/Australian Sheppard/cattle dog mix who chews anything she can get to. This is a behavior we are addressing on its own but an issue I’m having is that she loves her stuffed toys but she always destroys them. I gave her one meant for “tough play” and she disemboweled it in about 5 minutes.
She has bones/rubber/rope toys that have been holding up a bit better but I want to know if there are any brands that are actually meant for aggressive chewers— so far the only one that’s lasted is multipet’s duckworth, we’ve had that since we got her at 2 months old
Edit: also want to ask for insight. Should I be worried that she destroys her toys? Does that mean she hasn’t gotten proper bite inhibition or something?
