We introduced the doggy door right away and he seems to be taking to it. Doing potty outside by himself! We have a fenced in yard and we set up a pen & crate in the kitchen connected to the doggy door.

Now that I’m doing more research I’m reading says I shouldn’t let him roam by himself just yet. Is this true? Should I go backwards and take the door away from him? Will that confuse him and will he be hesitant to use it in the future?
