I'm posting links to a few photos and a video. I'm hoping you can help me figure out what is going through my dogs head in the car. I have to heavily lure him into the car or pick him up and put him in because he tries to escape when it's time to go in. Once he is in though, I feel like he is mostly ok. I've tried to make it a positive experience by giving him good treats when he gets in and throughout the drive-especially when he is calm and staying still. But I'm still worried I'm doing something wrong here.
Ps: I realize he is not properly buckled in. This is a temporary solution until the right kind of harness comes in because there is no room for him elsewhere in the car until I feel more comfortable squishing him in between the car seats.
