Calories for puppy – confusing label guides

Here`s another great article:

I have 3 month old 10lb male corgi. I’m struggling to find a guide to the calories he should be getting daily – it seems to vary widely depending where you look. For example, my vet suggested I look into Stella & Chewy food. Looking at their puppy “dinner patties” the label suggests feeding a 10lb puppy 10 patties per day. 1 patty = 32 cal, so 320 cals daily (which seems incredibly low). Then their puppy “raw coated kibble” says you should feed a 5-10lb pup 1-3 cups per day. 1 cup = 447 cals, so 447-1341 cals per day. I understand calorie needs will vary from dog to dog, but seeing guidance ranging from 320-1341 cals seems very off. Can someone explain?
