Here`s another great article:
I've tried filling my puppy's medium sized Kong with her frozen dry food many times now, and it keeps her entertained for a little while, but she cannot reach the bottom without assistance. I thought maybe it was just because the frozen dry food is harder, but she can't reach pumpkin or peanut butter at the bottom either. I've tried putting the food in dry (which isn't really the same) and also blending her food so it's softer when freezing (which was REPULSIVE), and she still couldn't reach the bottom of it. I think her little tongue isn't long enough to reach the bottom, but a smaller Kong fits almost nothing in it. Has anyone tried something different that's easier for her to access, but will keep her entertained for a while? I was thinking maybe a shallow Tupperware container?
