Here`s another great article:
I switched to a slightly higher reward for training and mixed it in with kibble. It works wonders and Mars especially has learned listening means he gets something amazing out of it sometimes. Things seem to click a lot quicker for him.
Now, Mars has decided whenever he wants something, he'll start doing his favorite trick: Spin. I taught him "say please by sitting" previously and now it's evolved into "say please by spinning". It's not really a problem, I find it rather adorable and he seems to enjoy spinning. I never enforced unsolicited spins, but I did add a sit to the end of spin so he can keep doing it instead of a plain sit if he wants.
Anybody else have an odd habit come out of training?
