Here`s another great article:
Hi! I have a one-year-old Berger Blanc Suisse (White Swiss Shepherd) and I'm looking for a good sport to get involved in with him.
He's absolutely obsessed with balls of all sorts, but especially large ones like soccer balls. A cruise around the interwebs led to discovering Treibball, which I understand was originally developed precisely to entertain herding breeds who don't have flock to manage.
This describes my boy to a t, and I think he'd really dig it. The problem is I don't have any training classes nearby, and don't know anyone who's ever participated in Treibball.
I'm hoping someone here has heard of it and can give me some idea of how much fun it might be for us. I plan to pick up some herding balls and start training in my backyard for the moment, but any real-world experience anyone can offer would be most appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
