Training a dog to get through a fence with a gate (he is 2 years old and can’t push easy doors open). Would it be easier to train him to jump the gate (meter high), or push the gate open? He’s a Pomski (75% husky).

Here`s another great article:

First-time posting here so sorry if I can't do this. The dog isn't a genius, but he's not stupid. We have very-easy to open doors, but he's scared to push it more than a gentle nuzzle and then just waits for us to open it. The gate is reasonably weighted, and he was terrified of it when he was a puppy. Would like some advice 🙂
