To teach or not to teach a dog to speak.

Here`s another great article:

I have a pit mix dog. He looks like a bully breed with cropped ears. He's a rescue I adopted.

My dogs trigger to barking is hearing a knock on the door. He never barks for any other situation.

He doesn't socialize much because I'm not a fan of the dog park and no he has no one to play with so I'm afraid he'll become aggressive if I train him to speak. So far I've had nothing but lovely experiences with other dogs. Chihuahua's, Labradors, German Shepard's. I'm afraid he'll start barking more and think it's acceptable.

Honestly at this point it's just a trick I want my dog to have under his belt but I'm not sure if I should teach it for the above reasons.
