Teddy Ruxpin gets a hi-tech makeover

Teddy Ruxpins play-pattern and dose to new technologies was way ahead of his time back in the 80 s, and with continued massive parental awareness its the right time to bring back this coveted label, said Michael Rinzler, founding spouse of Wicked Cool Toys, in a statement back in February.

The makers of cloud communications company Twilio established a container, powered by an Arduino Yn, that will let your pup send you selfies.

Greg Baugues, a coder at Twilio, “ve decided that” schooling Kaira, his puppy, how to turn on the light-footed switching wasn’t enough and took it to the next level by schooling her how to press a button that would snap a selfie of the puppy and text it to him.

We caught up with Baugues so we could play with Kaira learn how to master this tech hack.

Uber propels Beacon, a glowing contraption that helps you find your razz

Finding the right Uber car might not be very hard at an empty parking lots, but when you’re coming out of a nightclub or a sports event, there might be dozens of similar gondolas( most of them invariably Toyotas) waiting to pick person up.

Enter Beacon, Uber’s first hardware product.

It’s a simple contraption Uber drivers can stick to their windshield; it seems precisely like Uber’s( new) logo, and it glows in different hues that parallel whichever hue the customer has chosen.

Beacon is by no means required; Uber already makes purchasers check the driver’s gondola make and license plate in the app. But find a Beacon with a coinciding colour could be easier from afar, especially for those with less-than-perfect eyesight.

The company alleges it will be expanding Beacon to more municipalities around the world in 2017.
