Here`s another great article:

I brought in a new 4 month puppy today home to a 6 year old Maltese. He’s had some trouble with bigger older dogs in the past but overall he’s very well trained with people and other dogs outside.

This will be his first time living with another dog. I introduced them outside my house and he was kind of ignoring her after meeting her but no immediate conflicts. When we went inside the house though he started acting extremely anxious with high amounts of energy and would stare down the puppy when they’re in the same room. How do I make sure that this transition goes as smooth as possible? This will be the first time I have 2 dogs at the same time.
