So close with house training…

Here`s another great article:

My wife and I rescued a 2 year old Lab/Sheppard mix about two weeks ago. The only thing we know about her is that she was dumped on the side of the road. Long story short, we've been house and crate training her the past couple of weeks since she only went to the bathroom on the carpet. Now she knows to run to the front door but she still won't pee outside. She'll pee inside on the entryway tile, but as soon as we catch her and take her outside she'll stop. She also only seems to pee when she gets excited (When we get home, when she gets out of her crate, etc.) We take her outside every hour or two, reward her only when she finishes peeing outside and don't punish her for peeing inside.

Any tips on how to get her to pee outside without starting inside?
