Here`s another great article:
Hey guys, so I just got my puppy last night from her foster mom and she’s been super great and heaven sent so far (aside from a potty accident on the area rug). She’s been really good with going into her crate on her own and not barking or crying when I close the crate door. Her foster mom said that she usually sleeps throughout the night and wakes up around 6. Her crate is in the living room area and my room is right by the staircase so I’m trying to keep the door ajar to listen out for any indication that she’s woken up. My question is, should I sleep in the living room for a few days to monitor when she wakes up to help mitigate any accidents that might happen in her crate or should I just leave her alone. Thank you guys for any advice!
