Should I let my puppy (7 weeks) cry it out when crate training?

Here`s another great article:

So my puppy is 7 weeks old and we are training him to use his crate. The crate is located in our bedroom next to the bed. When we are ready for bed we put him in the crate, and let him cry it out until he falls asleep. We have only had him for two nights so far and he screams and yelps for a good 20 minutes just to drive us insane before he passes out. Then he wakes us up doing the same thing, and then we take him to go potty as soon as he wakes us up. We feed him in his crate, pet him, and put his toys in his crate so he knows it's a good place. Problem is that doesn't seem to help and he still hates it. I want to know if this is okay, and if there is anything else I should be aware of?
