Here`s another great article:

I have had Fry just over a month. I love him very much, but he is so anxious. I can't get him to come out of his crate when I am in the room with him, he will leave when I leave the room and he runs down and follows me and then as soon as I look at him, he runs back. I can't even get him out to go pee and he has now started peeing in the house. I had a friend bring her dog over and he acted the most like a dog I have ever seen him.

I talked to a rescue group and they said I should re home to a home with other dogs, but I don't want to 1. give up on him and 2. I love him. I am willing to be patient. But, I also work 7-8 hour days and I mostly stay home in the evenings and if I can't I will ask friends to go sit at home with him.

I also don't want to be selfish and I want to do what is right for him. Does anyone have similar stories or should I maybe consider re homing him?

Thanks in advance!
