Recently adopted 8 or 9 month old boxer mix gets suddenly aggressive and bites my feet for a few minutes occasionally. Is this "zoomies" or something else?

Here`s another great article:

So as the title says, my puppy is a boxer mix that I adopted a few weeks ago and is normally a really friendly and sweet dog towards everyone and other dogs.

However, for the last week or so, he started getting really angry and aggressive for a few minutes at a time once or twice a day, and will growl and bare his teeth. He'll also lunge at my feet and sometimes bite them, and yelping, saying ouch, or assertively telling him "no" doesn't stop it. I find that it happens more often during the evening/night, especially after coming home from walks or the dog park.

Some resources online say that this is normal for puppies, but is my dog too old for this? Could it be something else?
