Here`s another great article:
I got a 8 month lab mix who refuses to go in his cage. During potty training he would sleep in the cage at night, go in during dinner time or when he had an accident. After successful potty training we haven’t had him in the cage at all because I was home all day everyday to care for him. But now that I’m going back to work he’ll have to stay in the cage during the day and he refuses. If we try to put him in the cage he’ll snap at us or run away( try to pick him up is 10x worse), tried using the leash he’ll choke himself before he’ll get in the cage, we tried snacks but he’s too cautious to go in. He’s never like the cage but now he’ll do whatever it takes to not go in. ANY TIPS WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
