Here`s another great article:

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re doing well! On August 11th, my husband and I brought home our first puppy. Her name is Winnie and she is a 9 week old Maltipoo puppy. Yesterday, she would try to go pee, but nothing would come out. It would be a little trickle. She did this often. She also become really lethargic and just slept around all day. We got a little worried and took her to the vet. Because other puppies were coming in that tested positive for Parvo, he wasn’t able to do the UTI test because he wanted to get her out as soon as possible before they came in. He prescribed her amoxicillin for 7 days and said to come in if things don’t improve by then.

She still eats and drinks and her poop still looks good. She also went pee this morning, which was good. So I don’t think it’s a blockage. Anyway, since this is my first dog, I am just so sad and worried about her. Has this happened to anyone else’s puppy? Do you know how she could have gotten a UTI? How long will it take for her to feel better? Any suggestions on how to make her feel more comfortable?

Sorry for all of the questions, I am just so worried. Any advice or suggestions would be so helpful.

Thanks so much!
