Here`s another great article:
Our 10 week old puppy has started a new behavior. In between play we give her some time to chill with the toy we're playing as reward. She picks a corner and settles in with her reward. She then comes back for our hand (we allow gentle nibbles) to drag us to her corner of toys.
Tonight at bed time she was taking in everything in her pen (food bowl, chews, toys) into her crate and decided we needed to go in as well. While I thought it was hilarious I'm curious if anyone knows what this means.
I read about toy hoarding leading to resource guarding. That's not been an issue as I frequently take a thing away and give it back as she sorts through her stuff or chills. This is mostly a question of how she perceives us.
