Here`s another great article:
My puppy is 8 months old and all of a sudden he has been hit with loose stools today. He recently ate all his food and I've been giving him his usual food brand. I can't think what else might have caused his loose stools. I did see on the sidewalk some brown substance he might have gotten too close too the other day or the cheese treats I gave him yesterday for the first time. He has never had an accident in his crate before, but my mom came home to find poop all over his crate bed.
I will be taking some stool samples to the vet tomorrow, but in terms of food, do I need to slowly transition his food with his old food to his new food (same brand)?
