Here`s another great article:
My 6 month old puppy was eyeing down a fly and fell off the couch sideways. He mostly landed on his feet, but then instantly fell to his side and whined for the next 10-15 seconds. I picked him up as quick as I could and rested him somewhere soft, and he stopped whining immediately. I touched all over his legs and he didn't seem to be bothered by any of it. I then went over to give him a treat, and to my surprise he started walking to me. I didn't notice any limping and he didn't show any signs of pain.
The vet is not open today, but we plan to call them Monday morning to get their thoughts. Does anyone here have any opinions on what the injury, if any, could be? Or any advice on what we should do next? My puppy seems fine now, but he hardly ever whines so that initial 15 seconds is very off-putting.
