Here`s another great article:

Hello! My 6 month old puppy barks at edible bones and large treats (chicken-flavored teething rings, peanut butter sticks, DreamBones – that kind of thing) and/or hides them for a while before eating. He's currently barking at one on the ground and dancing around it while barking (tail wagging) like he does when he's asking to play with another dog. He usually will settle and start eating it but I'm wondering if it's possible to train this out a little bit? I give him these when I need him to be entertained while I'm on a work call, so I can't really have him bark for the first few minutes haha. I know he's excited but any ideas?
