Here`s another great article:
My 4-month-old corgi mix puppy is afraid of his harness and leash. Every time I try to put on his harness before we go out for a walk/potty, he acts scared and won't let me put it on him. I can slip it on him after i coax him to stand over the harness with treats, but otherwise, he cowers and runs away or sinks deeper into his crate. Same with the leash, he won't come to me when I call him while I'm holding the leash or by the front door. He is totally fine once we're walking but getting him in the harness is a 15-20 minute ordeal. Do you have any tips to get my little guy comfortable in his harness? Should I try another type of harness?
