Here`s another great article:
My puppy is almost 8 months and she is still not potty trained. She goes every time I take her out, which is every 1-2 hours. At night we keep her in her crate and she holds it, but she is still peeing wherever she wants in the house when she’s out. Sometimes it’s on the puppy pad, but most of the time it’s somewhere new every time. I make sure I clean the area well with enzymatic cleaner so she doesn’t smell her pee. I’ve tried restricting her while I’m home to stay in one room with me, but even so, I can’t watch her 24/7 and she will hide from me to pee. I reward her every time she goes outside and try my best to interrupt her if I catch her and take her outside, but it’s just not working. I’m at a loss here and I’m not sure what else I can do. Any help would be much appreciated!
