Here`s another great article:
We adopted a 1 year old pit mix about a month ago. We're going through normal struggles, and trying to make adjustments as needed. One thing we're really having trouble with is that she is play biting. We generally try to eliminate the stimulus that causes her to play bit. We've also tried positive reinforcement by telling her to stop, waiting a short time, then giving her a treat as a reward or simply praising her significantly. Problem is, she's found that play biting can be a way to get attention. She hasn't broken skin, and the play biting doesn't seem to be moving in that direction. But if anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it.
