Here`s another great article:
We adopted a 10 year old pittie about a month and a half ago. He’s never had an issue being aggressive or anything, but over the last few days he has started barking frantically at the door whenever he hears someone. He’s always barked at the door when someone knocks (which is a separate issue I’d love advice on) but over the past few days, if someone besides me or my roommates comes in, he starts to growl at them. Even if me and the person walk in together, which is what we’ve always done just in case. Not sure if he just doesn’t like this particular person, but after we put him in another room for a couple minutes he came out, sniffed him, and was fine. This morning when we woke up, it’s like my dog forgot who the guy was and started to lunge and growl again. Wondering if anyone has tips to nip this in the bud, as I don’t want it to become an issue/ something he enjoys by scaring people. Thanks in advance!!!
