Here`s another great article:
Hello, I’m a recent subscriber and a sometimes proud puppy owner of a 9 week old cocker spaniel for 3 days now.
Literally the only way I can get him to settle for the night is by putting the crate on my bed. It’s just me on a queen size bed, but I don’t want it to be a permanent solution. I understand it’s his first time away from the litter and there’s an adjustment period, but how should I transition from the crate on the bed to on the floor?
I don’t need a timeline, because I know that it will depend on how my guy acclimates. I guess I’m looking for 1 part validation (because having a crate on my bed seems crazy) and 2 parts advice on where to go from here. Thanks in advance
