Here`s another great article:

My puppy is 3.5 months old and is teething. We wanted to buy her a bone to chew on that would be good for her teeth and so she doesn’t get into trouble. We bought her a nylabone that is specifically for puppies. They are supposed to be the more gentle ones but she has had it for like 20 minutes and already looks like she might get little pieces off of it soon. Does anyone else have any experiences with these and are they safe? Or is there something better out there for her?

Update: Just took it away from her and realized that she is making herself bleed now from biting it. Do I take it away or is this normal?
