Here`s another great article:

I have a 7 months old border collie who is about to enter adolescence, I rescued her from an abusive household at six months and she has been doing well. So far I haven’t noticed any reactivity in her but I know that it could change in the future.

What I’m wondering about is how to leash train her, when she pulls I stop completely and wait for her to come to me, should I treat her when she comes towards me or when we start to walk again?

I tried walking in the opposite direction whenever she pulled but that only resulted in my ankles getting bitten each time so I stopped doing that. Any more tips and advice is greatly appreciated!
