Here`s another great article:
Hey. I have an awesome German shepherd mix puppy of 11 months. My wife and I got her at 8 weeks and she is my first dog. I learned how to train her and she is so smart and her dog skills are very good. We have been wanting a second dog and today we went for it and got an 8 week old puppy.
Throughout the day my wife had second thoughts because she felt like we haven't had enough time with our original dog and feels sad we haven't had a lot of time with the 3 of us. Old puppy loves dogs and plays well with young puppy but has had an accident and marked once which I'm sure is just from being excited. I started to have the same feeling as the day went on and wondered if this is common, if the timing wasn't right, or this is something we are going to get over. I'm just looking for some advice but I feel that it would be wise to re-home right away as it has been less than 24 hours and I don't think a puppy this cute should make us feel this way. Also, it's not fair to the pup.
Thanks in advance.
