New four month old puppy

Here`s another great article:

We're four days in with our new four month old German pointer cross puppy. The first few meals we've fed him in a bowl in his crate. However I've just bought him a Kong and decided to feed him his breakfast this morning in the Kong.

Should I be regularly feeding him his meals in his Kong? He still needs to learn to use it because at the moment he'll lick at it for a bit and then get bored and walk off. He'll start at it again if I redirect his attention to it. I'm wary of any resource guarding/food aggression behaviours if we are present while he tries to eat from his Kong because I keep needing to pick it up and redirect his attention to it.
