Here`s another great article:
As a Belgian Malinois it’s in his genetics.
It was overwhelming when I first got him, so I put him in training and he’s doing bite work. He’s been much better over the last couple weeks since I brought him home from training. I now work and stimulate him throughout the day so that he doesn’t feel the need to get snippy, and he’s been so much better!
And then he bit my dad. Dad was doing yard work and I brought him into the yard and he just got riled and went for him. My dad has really been trying with him to build a relationship and I just feel so bad that my pup did that. Dad said he doesn’t want to be friendly with him anymore.
We’re still training and I see progress. It just felt like such a set back and I feel awful about it.
