My dog doesn’t want to give back the ball when playing fetch.

Here`s another great article:

Usually I throw the ball and he chases it, but when he comes back to me he stands like 4 meters away from me and If I try to go closer to him to take the ball he moves away! If I am able to somehow get my hand on the ball, he lets go of it all the time. He only comes to me and puts the toy on the ground when he sees me holding something in the hand, be it a toy or a treat. The only possible way of playing fetch with him is with two toys but I sort of want to teach him proper fetch. So I just want to ask how can I make him willingly give the ball to me? What specific action should I do when the dog is standing with the ball like "come, try to take it from me lol". Im sorry for my bad english
