My 6 month old corgi won’t stop pooping inside

Here`s another great article:

I have a 6 month old male corgi and he keeps pooping inside no matter how many walks I take him on. I started him out on potty pads which I feel was a mistake because he still is having issues with now pooping outside. It takes him forever to poop outside on walks. I feel like it is starting to irritate my roommates and I feel bad. I’m not sure what to do. I just started crate training to give him more structure and he only poops in the house three times a week vs every night. It’s super hard to break this habit. It seems he doesn’t want to go when I take him out then he really has to go so he goes inside.
