Muzzle or crate

Here`s another great article:

Because of the nature of my job, I am Home but can not watch my 7 month old golden doodle from 3-6:30. So I crate her for 3hrs. She doesn’t fuss, but doesn’t sleep and just stares at a wall for 3 hrs. She isn’t destructive and won’t dig or scratch but she’ll eat or chew EVERY thing. Is a muzzle for 3hrs letting her roam the house better than a crate for three hours? It’s really either or for me. I tried making her a play area in the basement, but she goes crazy not near me. Like I said because of the nature of my work,I’m in the house but CANT deal with her then.
